Scrapping

So I seemed to have surfaced from underneath the pile of crap that I had in my study..and it was beautiful and clean and then well...I scrapped didnt I? and now I have mess everywhere again!!
I pushed myself out of my comfort zone (thanks Donna!)and created a 12x24 layout!
I'm pretty happy with it..a little different to what I normally do, but I think change is really good for ones self!
So here is the layout of my gorgeous spunky husband, who truly does make me speechless just by looking at me..he makes me feel like I truly have a purpose on this earth. And even on my worst day where I feel like a slob he can still make me feel beautiful!
So here's to you babe..my everything.

Oh and Stac?? I know you read every now and then..I miss your sexy ass girl!

Oh my...

You Are a Very Bad Girl

You are 10% Good and 90% Bad
As they say, good girls go to heaven and bad girls go everywhere!
You make most bad girls look like angels - and have a hell of a time along the way.

Whose stupid idea

was it?? to pull EVERYTHING and I mean everything out of the study and rearrange it??
what a moron, especially at bloody 10.00 at night!!
So needless to say, I will post a proper entry when I surface from the pile of crap that is in the middle of the floor ready to be sorted!!
Oy what a total idiot...wishing I had never started it now!!

Food for the soul

mmmmmmmmm chocolate...(said in my best homer simpson voice!)
This chocolate is my all time favourite..but because Z is severely allergic to nuts we cannot, and will not have it in the house, but every now and then, when the house is as quiet as a mouse and he is sleeping..my gorgeous hunk-o-spunk goes and buys me a bar, and no word of a lie it takes me about 5 mins to eat it!! then starts the cleaning ritual, hands scrubbed, teeth brushed, bench wiped down. I know I know, many people ask me why I bother having it when I have to go through so much just to clean up afterwards...well hmmm its chocolate! thats my answer anyway and I'm sticking to it! LOL

So it seems that a scrapper has taken over my body and has started producing layouts on my desk again! LOL I actually got 3 yes 3 completed tonight!!

I'm actually really tired and so need to go to bed, but believe it or not I want to keep scrapping, but alas a tired mummy makes for a grumpy mummy, and Fridays are my busiest days between class reading, babysitting my nephews and then swimming lessons so I really should head off to bed..
Thanks for the comments guys, I really appreciate them, sometimes I wonder if I am talkng to myself!!

A little from Column A a little from Column B!

It's a bits and pieces post tonight!
First cab off the rank:
Naming Day
We had such a wonderful day with all our family and friends, just a nice relaxing afternoon to celebrate my little prince's naming day. I have finally restored order and normality back to our household and my house is all clean once again! Harrison was such a good boy, even handed out a few smiles for the crowd! then slept for 8.5 hours for us that night!! What a star! considering he was held by so many people that day and had soooooo many photos taken i really thought he would have an unsettled night.
Long Weekend
LOVED IT!! Monday was a great family day, kids and hubby played board games, I scrapped a tin for a birthday party Diva has on wednesday(i'll post pics tomorrow!)
then we went out for dinner for another friends birthday! Unfortunately all good things must come to an end and hubby went back to work today, much to his disgust! It was freeeezing here this morning!
Floods and natural disasters :(
My heart has been so affected by the floods and disasters in newcastle and areas, it really is something that I dont think anyone can fathom to be honest. DH spoke to a lady in his company today that lives there and she said its like a war zone when you drive around, and very reminiscent of cyclone tracy. How truly devasting for those affected. One of the fellows that works within the company came home to find his house and car under water, and like so many others he has a family, 3 small children to be precise. Made me cry when DH told me this morning, so off I went to the shops to get some toys or pencils or something for this little ones. I couldn't bear the thought of them having nothing at all. They are in the process of trying to find temporary accomodation and I wanted to do something for the kids. The incredible feeling I feel at the moment, knowing that I could do something, even if it is only small, but something to bring a smile to those kids faces makes me feel fantastic.
No child, actually no adult should ever have this much sadness and devastation in their lives. It's not right. Now I'm not religious at all, but if you could all spare a thought and a prayer for everyone that this affects I would really appreciate it, and I know they would too.
Projects:
I have a few projects on the go at the moment, layouts to catch up on most definately. But a few new things too, I'm planning on making my gorgeous nephew a rag quilt, now anyone that knows me, knows that I really am not the best sewer in the world, so god only knows how it's going to turn out, but hell it'll be piss funny watching the whole process unfold!
Anyway it's pic sharing time so I'll catch you all tomorrow.
Sweet dreams!

Coughs, Colds and a sobbing little princess...

Ugh we are all sick :( My voice sounds like a drag queens voice! DH has a really chesty cough, Zac has a blocked nose and my princess sobbed on and off all night with a earache poor little darlin. So she has been dosed up on panadol and has been laying on her heat pack to help ease it a little.
On a good note though we have had RAIN!!! yay lots of it too! we so need it, I really don't think we can conserve water any more than we already are. I wish we had a tank that could have, no actually would have been filled the past few days. I'm glad the farmers are getting some relief, I can't imagine how hard it has been for them.
So the little puddin put on 700grams in a fortnight hehe, yeah the average they look for is 150g per week. Yup my little porker exceeded that! he now weighs 10lb 4oz!!
He is sleeping great of a night, he has his last feed about 10.00-11.00 then wakes at about 6am, cant ask for a better baby really! I need to keep an eye on him at the moment I think he is getting our colds, hope not he is too little to feel this dreadful.

So I created last night!! I made 6 cards, YAY go me! I also made some canvasses of the kids the other day, I'll get photos of them and put them in another post. I think my desire to create is finally coming back, thank god! I was wondering what the hell I was going to do with all my stuff I have accumulated the last few years!
But nope its slowly resurfacing!!

Well enough of my ramblings! I'll leave you with some pics of the little prince! He smiled and I caught it on camera!
Catch ya on the flip side!! (hehe such an 80's saying!)
